2011 Capitol Hill Forum
Invitation
The Association for International Agriculture and Rural Development (AIARD)
and its co-sponsors invite you to the Capitol Hill Forum, March 15, 2011, 8 - 11:30 am
AIARD is an organization whose members devote their careers to alleviating global hunger and poverty through international agricultural development. AIARD and its co-sponsors are is pleased to invite you to join us, and many other co-sponsors, at this year's Capitol Hill Forum:
Hunger Won't Wait
This year's Forum is occurring at a critical time. In a time of spiking food prices, coupled with a global economic downturn, nearly one billion people are hungry. As you will see from the program, the Forum will include an overview of the issues, as well as interactive discussion with experts. Arrive at 8:00 a.m. in case there is a crowd at the entrance to the Capitol Visitor Center. We will have breakfast and networking with colleagues for the hour preceding the Forum. We have plenty of room in the auditorium -- encourage many of your colleagues to register early.
See you there!
