"Innovative Public-Private Partnerships that Promote International Agricultural and Rural Development" Speakers and Panelists
Eloise Carter is the Director of the Office of International Programs at Tuskegee University. She holds a B.S. degree in Foods and Nutrition from Southern University, MS. from Tuskegee and Ph.D from Kansas State University. During her career she has taught at North Carolina Central University, and Kansas State University.
She then became Department Head for nutrition followed by Interim Dean for Agriculture and Home Economics at Tuskegee. She had a joint appointment between USAID and USDA where she was a special assistant to the Assistant Administrator in USDA and Chief of the Institutional Resources Division with The BIFAD/USAID. Upon returning to Tuskegee University, she became Associate Director for International Programs and now Director. She has more than 20 years in international development and in academic research and development at the university level.
